Vina Danks Participates in Warm Coat Drive

Vina Danks Keystone College Prep Academy students have been very busy collecting coats as part of the One Warm Coat community service project. Our students collected 416 coats which will be donated to Operation New Hope and then distributed, free of charge, to our local community. According to Mr. Tim Sullivan, principal of Vina Danks, it is important to provide a variety of opportunities for students to give back to the community through service projects. Way to go VINA DANKS!!

Vina Danks Students Share a "New Perspective" on Science

Vina Danks Keystone seventh grade students were hard at work the last couple weeks creating giant models of plant and animal cells. Their teacher, Julie Allender, challenged students to use various spaces, materials, and designs to show their understanding of cellular structure. Other seventh grade classes had the opportunity to sign up for "tours" into the cell. This project was possible because of amazing parent volunteers and creative problem solving from students.
