Vineyard STEM Magnet Student Qualifies for California State Science Fair

The Ontario-Montclair School District and Vineyard STEM Magnet School are proud to recognize Olivia Tobin for qualifying for the California State Science Fair. Olivia is the first student from Vineyard STEM Magnet School to receive a Gold Medal at the San Bernardino County Science Fair.

Olivia was recognized for her research into the impact preschool has on an individual's  future success.   Olivia collected survey data using a number of variables in order to complete her project. Along with her Gold Medal, Olivia was also nominated to compete in the Broadcom MASTERS, a national competition in which students from across the country engage in scientific challenges.

Olivia has been a student at Vineyard STEM since she was in 2nd grade.  She is a hard worker who goes above and beyond in class.  She takes full advantage of the STEM learning experiences offered at Vineyard.  OMSD and Vineyard STEM Magnet School are very proud of Olivia’s accomplishments!
