As part of the on-going LCAP process, over 70 middle school students, representing nine schools, came together to form the OMSD Middle School Congress. The Middle School Congress collaborated in various group activities and each member had the opportunity to submit “their thoughts” on ThoughtExchange. Receiving input from our middle school students is part of the stakeholder input gathering process. Phase II of the ThoughtExchange process has begun, which consists of stakeholders prioritizing the “thoughts” received. The students enjoyed the opportunity to give their input. They will participate next in
the Staring phase of the survey at their sites where they will prioritize the
most important ones from their peers.
